I don't know why I'm laughing. Some of these cut way too close to the bone.

I was thinking exactly the same!

Your laughing makes it all worth it.

That Rwanda system takes the cake!

This made me laugh and I’m sorry you had to cut so many stories. I’m not quite so professional as you, so I rambled through all my stories when I attempted a post like this a few months ago: https://accidentallyaustrian.substack.com/p/rental-car-roulette-12-years-of-not

Haha, I don't know how I missed your post, but I am glad to have read it. Seems like you have many badges of honor as well. I had no idea how universal some of these experiences were.

So relateable - especially the US 'free' upgrades to something akin to the size of a medium size military tank, and that guzzles gas just as fast, that they claim is 'just' an SUV! 🤣

They are just so big! Thank you, Jacqui.

I would have loved a little photo of the bears and the binder in Japan. Your LA experience reminds me of a rental we had in Napa, Ca. Family of 3 and we get a SUV the size of Texas. We called it The Beast..as always thank you for the laugh out loud enjoyment (partially as your expense?) That didn't come out right. And raised digits on cards? I had forgotten about those!!!!!!

The Beast is a good name for it. I mean, if you have a lot of bags in addition to people they can be helpful (I guess?) A laugh at my expense is always appreciated.
